Beatriz Lerma was born in San Sebastian (Spain) in 1975. Currently lives in Cadiz. He graduated in Information Sciences and moved to Madrid to complete his education with a Masters in Corporate Communications and Advertising. In that city he studied Drama and stage management, and worked for several years as an actress and as a Spanish teacher.

His first contact with the writing was through theater, writing several monologues and plays for children. "June Vagsto . A trip to the North Kingdoms", her first novel, was declared winning Youth Literature Prize As de Picas 2010, convened by Viceversa Publisher and PlayStation ®. The second part, "June Vagsto. A journy to overseas", was published in 2012.
